This series will get to know some of the female idols or actresses who are girl crush material. A ‘girl crush’ is defined as a woman or girl who is the object of one’s admiration. In other words, one of the female K-Pop idols or Korean actresses that fans wish was their best friend or girlfriend. This can be based on their style, personality, overall vibe, etc. Check out the previous girl crush articles here. Back to this week’s feature! Let’s get to know our girl crush, NaYeon! NaYeon is famous as a member of the internationally-acclaimed girl group TWICE and as a soloist. NaYeon is known for her honey sweet vocals. She has ever the wide vocal range which allows her to pull off a number of techniques including falsetto and an attractive low register. Her vocal tone is just as delightful she is, with its bright finish. You could say that her voice has a healing quality as it always instantly cheers you up and brightens your day. One of her must-listen vocal performances is this cover of ‘Santa Tell Me’. When it comes to dancing, NaYeon boasts some of the prettiest dance lines. She makes even the most complicated choreography look extremely natural and graceful. One of the best parts of 2022, was NaYeon getting to show off her skills as an artist in a solo capacity. Many who may not have known about her talent got to experience it in a new way. Her debut with “IM NAYEON” not only gave us the best stages, stage outfits, etc., but it also gave us a no-skip album to listen to on-repeat to our heart’s content. She has a glowy and refreshing beauty accented by her unique features. Her visuals are like a warm spring day with the perfect sky and flowers blooming everywhere. At the same time, NaYeon has a magnetic charm, too. Regardless of the concept, her whole being is like that of a human vitamin, which corresponds super well with her personality, too. Although she can be a bit shy, she actually has a very sociable personality and shows a lot of natural aegyo. She is the kind of person who everyone wishes was their best friend.
